Why does it look so R E A L I S T I C
Please, to anyone watching this. If your goal is specifically to draw hyper realistic then maybe this video is helpful. But I personally think hyperrealism, while art, is not nearly as interesting as focusing on form, lighting, shapes, lines, etc. This is what really matters. That’s where you can really tell a story, hyperrealism shows EVERYTHING, which is fine; but I think it’s more interesting when you can be subtle enough with the pencil to imply something to the viewer and let them draw their own conclusions from your work. Please don’t get caught up in this, these are just details, rendering, you can always render, but learning the basics will give you true creative freedom.
